Had an awesome stay at The Denes! The hosts were super welcoming, our room was spacious with fun decor, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Just a heads-up, the stairs can be a bit much with heavy bags, but it’s totally worth it!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Denes! The charming seaside decor throughout the house was delightful, and the hosts, Chris and Lesley, went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. They even researched local dining options for us.

I can't think of anything negative.

Make sure to indulge in the homemade cakes available during afternoon tea. they are a delightful treat after a day of exploring the nearby paths.

The warm welcome with tea and homemade cake was just what I needed after my long drive. The brekkie was lekker, with a decent spread of local goodies. Plus, the room was cozy and clean, with those cute chocolates on the pillow!

The bathroom pipes made a bit of noise—eina—but it didn't bother me much.

Access to the room involves climbing three flights of stairs, which may not suit everyone’s mobility needs. The private bathroom might require some adjustments if sensitive to bathroom noises. Despite these quirks, the overall cleanliness kept the stay enjoyable.

Our two-night stay was a delightful escape! The spacious, beautifully decorated room captured our hearts. Breakfast options exceeded expectations, especially accommodating gluten allergies. The kids loved the cozy dining room and exploring the kitchen. Don’t miss the scenic walks nearby—the Cliff Train is a must!

We enjoyed our stay with the kids as the breathtaking walks along the East Lyn River to Watersmeet were a highlight. The hosts felt like family, and the breakfast was top-notch, complete with accommodating choices for my gluten allergy. The cozy games available for us to play in the evening added to the fun.

In my wife’s opinion, it would have been great to have a small play area for the kids.

Great place with free wi-fi, free parking, and an electric kettle. The staff always help me find great shopping spots. I can't wait to return for another holiday!
